Hi Friends! Welcome to Kindly, Kayla.

Kindly, Kayla is a blog I first created in 2021, but the dream started long before then. Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve loved the idea of having a space to write and share my heart. My very first blog was called Dare to Be Different, and later in high school, I created one called Keeping Up with Kay. Writing has always been something close to my heart.

I love sharing uplifting messages about the things I personally walk through because I believe it’s so important for people to feel seen, understood, and never alone in what they’re facing.

Kindly, Kayla is a space where I share my heart and invite you to slow down and notice the sweetness of life with Jesus!

I chose the name Kindly, Kayla because I want every word shared here to be rooted in kindness. My hope is that when you visit this space, you feel safe, loved, encouraged, and cared for.

This Blog’s Theme 🌳

The theme of Kindly, Kayla is Abide in Christ.

John 15 has become one of the most meaningful passages of Scripture to me, and I want it to shape not only my life but this blog as well. My prayer is to remain close to Jesus, allowing Him to produce His fruit in my life through abiding in Him.

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me.”

John 15:4 NKJV

Throughout Scripture, Jesus often uses images of seeds, gardens, vines, and trees, and I’ve always found so much beauty in that. That’s part of why I chose a floral logo for this blog. If you know me, you know how much I love flowers. You can see it in my room, the way I dress, and even my camera roll. My hope is that this space is deeply rooted in Scripture while also being filled with beauty and comforting images that make you feel excited to be here.

New Beginnings 🌷

You may notice that my previous blog posts have been taken down. As much as I cherish those posts and the season of life they came from, I felt led to begin again with a fresh start.

I want the words I share here to honestly reflect where I am now and what God is currently teaching me. I truly believe He is doing a new thing in my life, and I’m excited to share pieces of that journey with you along the way.

“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
